In this article Kelsey Peterson who was a middle school teacher is on the run with a 13 year old named Fernando Rodriguez. Even though Kelsey is 25 and Fernando is 13 they like eachother and have sent e-mails to each other. Denver Post, by the associated press. I think that the teacher and the student should be able to like one another and it shouldn't be made a big deal because if they're running away they're running for a reason. They like eachother and just because it's different doesn't mean it's wrong. Love works in many different ways and if two people have strong feelings for one another then they should do what they want. The teacher also shouldn't be charged with child abuse and kidnapping because the kid knows whats going on and if the kid likes the teacher then thats not child abuse or kidnapping.

I disagree my dear Phillip, this is something that should not happen. First the child might and probably is brain-washed.Even if he is not brain-washed he's only 13, he doesn't know what love is, he probaly thinks girls still have cooties. This should never happen and it just gives me the heebie jeebies when i read it.

I do not agree with you. Currently, there is a law against this so they should make it into a big deal. Even though they are happy, they should not be allowed to do this. But you wrote this blog well and you had good reasoning.
Well i agree and disagree with the fact. I think its a very true fact that Philip stated that Love works in many diffrent ways. Its true that the kid may know whats going on and may indeed be in love with this teacher. But i think its still wrong that the kid is underage.
